Covid 19

     Contactless Check In

We have introduced a contactless booking and checking-in system. All our pitches are now numbered so that when you book you are allocated your space before arrival. We will send you detailed instructions for the campsite and our Campsite and Village Maps in advance so you will have all the information you need before you get here. Now, when booking a camping pitch we ask you to settle the balance for your whole stay upfront. Extras, such as hiring a fire bowl or buying wood, can be purchased when booking. These will be waiting at your numbered pitch for you when you arrive. If you wish to buy anything while on site we have a contactless card machine. For your peace of mind, all bookings can be changed up to twice within an 18 month period in the event of lockdown conditions changing.

Smaller numbers on site

We have reduced the number of pitches in order to give every pitch the maximum amount of space and to reduce the pressure on our facilities. We will continue with our existing strict policy of not allowing group bookings.

New toilets/ washroom block

We have built a brand new toilet and shower block entirely with Covid in mind. The facilities now comprise four toilets, two showers, hand sanitising dispensers and a washing up sink. Every toilet and shower has its own entrance and the lights are automatic in order to reduce ‘touch points’. We have designed the block to ensure minimum contact between users. Where possible we encourage campers to use their own facilities. There is no extra charge for toilet tents.

A more rigorous cleaning regime

Though we have always taken a thorough approach to cleaning, our new regime reflects the increased importance of hygiene. Our toilets/showers are given a rigorous clean three times a day. Hand sanitising dispensers are available in order to make touch points like door handles more sanitary. All shared facilities have been withdrawn in order to make our campsite Covid secure and the water tap now has a sanitizing station.

Social distancing measures

Camping is, by its nature, an activity which lends itself to social distancing, nonetheless we have introduced new measures to enhance the Covid security of our site. Please follow the guidance and ensure you and all those in your party, including children, are aware of and willing to follow this guidance and pay attention to information on site. This way everyone can enjoy a wonderful holiday, secure in the knowledge they have done everything possible to keep themselves, their family and our small community safe.

Thank you and we hope to see you later in the summer!
