You can arrive anytime between 2pm and 8pm.
We do not accept arrivals after 8pm.
Depending on availability, an Early Arrival (11am - 2pm)
can be booked in advance for a £5 fee.
Check out is 11am latest.

To secure your booking we require full payment upfront.
If lockdown conditions change, preventing you from visiting,
we are happy to change your dates up to twice within the space of 18 months.
If you need to cancel for any other reason our refund policy is:

30 daysí notice or longer - 90% refunded
15 - 29 daysí notice - 50% refunded
14 days or less notice - No refund

Please note we cannot hold a pitch without a booking.
Extra nights - prior permission for extra nights must be obtained
from Phil or Katy before 11am on the day you are due to check out.

We are suitable for smaller units (e.g. 1-5 person tents, VW campervans, small caravans).
If you have a large tent (e.g. 6 - 8 man; or over 6 metres incl. guys), large caravan or motorhome
(over 6 metres/ 20 foot) we are sorry but, due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate you.
No gazebos, event shelters or other such structures are allowed.

To preserve the open, quiet and friendly nature of the site we have a strict
'no groups' policy
with a maximum of 2 adults per booking/ pitch.
Two families camping together (whether they are related or not) are classed
as a group and we are sorry but we cannot accommodate you.
If you book separately but arrive expecting to camp as a group
we will reluctantly have to cancel your booking on arrival.

We have introduced a contactless booking and checking-in system. All our pitches
are numbered so that when you book you are allocated your pitch before arrival.
We will let you know your pitch number and also send you detailed instructions for the
campsite and our map so you will have all the information you need before you get here.
Occasionally we may need to change your pitch number
in which case we will notify you as soon as possible.

Each booking has an allowance of one car only.
We discourage extra cars due to limited space but if you require two cars
there is a charge of £10 for the extra car, to be paid on booking.
Ground conditions permitting only, it is allowed to drive onto site to
pitch/ unpitch but at all other times cars are forbidden on site.
As soon as possible vehicles are to be left in the car park
50 yards from the site for a quieter, safer and prettier campsite!

During wet weather the site may be inaccessible to  campervans in which case
these vehicles will be required to pitch or park on one of our hardstanding areas,
which could include our car parking area.

Max speed = 5mph at all times

There is a minimum three night stay for Bank Holiday weekends.
During busy weekends we require a minimum 2 night booking.

Quiet, friendly dogs are welcome and there is no extra charge.
But they MUST be kept on a short lead and under control at all times when on site.

This is a quiet site. No radios or stereos.
Gentle, acoustic instruments (e.g. guitar) and campfire song are very welcome
provided that other guests are not disturbed.
Noise is strictly prohibited on site between 11pm and 7am.
This includes vehicle movements.

Open campfires are NOT allowed on site.
BBQs and fire bowls are permitted on the understanding that:
a) they are supervised at all times by a responsible, sober adult.
b) the grass beneath them is protected from heat damage - paving slabs available.
c) ashes are disposed of responsibly - bagged and binned; not in the bushes.
d) any firewood must be purchased from outside, or purchased from our shop.

Under no circumstances may any wood be collected
from the site or from anywhere in the village or surroundings.

No fireworks, Chinese lanterns or water balloons.
Children must be supervised at all times,
especially around barbeques, fires and animals.

Those who have their own facilities are encouraged to use them when on site.
There is no charge for toilet tents.
We respectfully ask guests not to apply make-up or shave in the toilets
and that they are left clean and ready for the next user.
Young children must be supervised when using the facilities.

Campers are required to keep 2 metres from other guests at all times.
If queuing for the toilets or shower please maintain the 2 metre rule.
Anyone repeatedly breaching social distancing guidelines will be asked to leave.
We are sorry but no visitors are allowed on site. Please meet offsite.
